Introduction
TimeTec Leave New Release v22.11.1.x has introduced us to a new feature for the Leave enhancement feature - Next-person-to-follow-up. Leave Application – Next person-to-follow-up feature is designed to allow the user to appoint their colleague for tasks or work progress. The feature will be set as default (Optional) in the system and application.
This feature allows users to pick another user(s) to follow up with their work / take over their jobs while they are on leave and is only available at TimeTec Leave Web and TimeTec HR.
Note: Users may choose up to 5 users to be notified that they are to follow up on the user's tasks while they are on leave.
TimeTec Web leave application
When applying for leave using the web application, the user may choose the next person to follow up at the bottom page application.
Once the application is approved, the next person to follow up will be shown on the calendar:
Timetec HR application
When applying for leave using the Timetec HR application, the user may choose the next person to follow up at the bottom page application. The next follow-up person will appear inside the calendar for users' reference.

Introduction
TimeTec HR is a new app by TimeTec that consolidates several TimeTec solutions: Attendance, Leave, Claim, Access and Payroll, into one super app. This article will guide you on how to use the leave module in TimeTec HR.
Benefit
By having the TimeTec HR app on your smartphone, you can easily manage your leave applications.
Process
For TimeTec Leave users to be able to carry out any request via the App, the admins will first need to carry out a few configurations within the TimeTec Leave account as shown below.
A) Configure a login credential for the user
1) Login to your TimeTec Leave account > go to User > Manage User tab
2) Select the user > Click Edit > go to System Information tab > configure the options listed below.
- Login User Name [email – please ensure that the email address is valid]
- Login Password (the login password created will become the user's temporary login password)
B) TimeTec HR application download
Users can download the TimeTec HR application from the Android, iOS, and Huawei gallery in the link below.
C) TimeTec HR (Leave) Login
1) The user may log in to the application by using the login credential provided by the admin.
2) After the login is completed, the user may use the application to apply for leave.
3) Other features available in TimeTec HR - Leave module:
a) Leave Overview - users will be able to view their leave allocation, balance, leave used, upcoming leave, and pending approval application.
b) Calendar - view who’s on leave and holiday for the month.
c) Report
d) Approval - view the application list

Introduction
Replacement Leave is commonly used among companies where the staff work on a Holiday/Rest day and in return, are entitled to an additional day of leave. TimeTec allows users to request their entitlement of replacement leave using the REPLACEMENT LEAVE CREDIT module. Here is how you can apply for a Replacement Leave Credit:
A. Request Credit via Mobile App
1. From the App’s options select Replacement Credit (For Admins/Approvers, Replacement
Credit > Credit Application). Then, select the Add icon to proceed with a new Credit Request.
2. Enter the Request Type along with Full Day, Multiple Days or Partial Day, then enter the date of the holiday/rest day that was replaced with work. Take note that Replacement Credit can only be requested on or after the Holiday/Rest day has taken place.
3. Enter the reason and add an attachment (if required), then select the Submit icon to send the application
4. Upon submission, the respective approver will be notified, and once the request is approved, the Replacement Leave balance (entitlement) will be updated accordingly. You can view the balance on the Homepage of your Mobile App.
* These steps only apply for replacement leave. To use the received credit is similar to other leave applications. Please refer to the Leave Application section on how to do so.
B. Request Credit Via Web
1. Log in and select Replacement Credit, click on APPLY to open a new Replacement Credit Request.
2. Enter the date of the holiday/rest day that you have worked. Take Note that the replacement credit can only be requested on or after the holiday/rest day has taken place. Moving on, include the reason and add an attachment (If required), then proceed to submit the request.
3. Once the request is approved, the Replacement Leave balance (entitlement) will be updated accordingly. View the updated balance in Leave Application, Current Allowance/Balance table.
* These steps only apply for replacement leave. To use the received credit is similar to other leave applications. Please refer to the Leave Application Section on how to do so.
C. Credit Approval - Mobile App
1. Login to TimeTec Leave App, and select Replacement Credit> Credit Approval from the menu options.
2. Select the submitted request and review the details including date, reason, and attachment, proceed to Approve/Reject/Cancel.
D. Credit Approval - Web
1. Login and Select Replacement Credit > Approval.
2. Click on Edit to review/revise the received applications.Related Post:

Introduction
Given the rights, users can access both Mobile apps and the Web to perform leave management. Here are the steps to submit a new leave application:
A. i. Leave Application - via Mobile App
1. Launch TimeTec Leave App.2. Log in using your activated email address and password.
3. Select the + button on the top right corner of the Homepage to proceed with a new leave application.
4. Select Leave Type from the available list.
5. Select Request Type
a) Full-Day: To request leave for 1 full day
Select the date on the calendar (Restday/Off Day/Holiday marked with red highlight cannot be chosen)
b) Multiple Days
Consecutive Mode: Select the start and end date of your application (The system will ignore the Restday/Off Day/Holiday within the selected date range) Non-Consecutive Mode: Select multiple different dates
c) Partial Day
- Select Date
- Select Duration of Leave (e.g. 4 hours)
- Select Start Time (e.g. Half Day AM or Half Day PM)
6. Enter the Reason and tap the Attachment icon to include Documents/Images within your application.
7. It is optional to use the Cc feature to notify your colleagues. After this is done, tap on the Send button to submit the application.
8. Upon submission, the respective admin(s)/approver(s) will receive a notification for the approval (Refer to Leave Approval section).
B. ii. Leave Application - via Web
1. Use any browser to login to your account at: www.timetecleave.com
2. On the HOME page, click on APPLY to proceed with a new leave application.
3. Fill up request details including, Leave Type, Request Type (Full, Partial, Multiple Days).
4. Click browse to add an attachment to your application and Submit to Confirm the leave request.
5. Upon submission, the respective admin(s)/approver(s) will receive a notification for the approval (For Approval steps, please refer to Leave Approval section
C. i. Application History - Mobile App
1. From the Options menu, select APPLICATION to view the details of your submitted leave applications. You can also filter the applications by Leave Name and Status of the application
ii. Application History - Web
1. Log in and select LEAVE APPLICATION.
2. The “Current Allowance/Balance” table displays the details of leave entitlement, such as Allowance, Carry Over, Current Balance, and Pending applications (Refer to screenshot above).3. Pending lists the number of leave applications that have not been reviewed by the admin/approver.
a) Click on the number displayed as Pending (Refer to screenshot above).
b) To cancel, click on the status of the application, enter the reason and click Yes, as shown below.
Leave Approval Management via TimeTec Office application & TimeTec Leave Web
To manage the approval of your staff leave request via Mobile App or Web; please refer to the following steps:
i. Leave Approval on Mobile App
1. Approver(s) will be notified upon submission of an application by their respective staff(s).
2. View submitted leave requests on the Mobile App> Options Menu> Approval. You can filter the submitted applications by Name and Status.
3. Select from the list to review application details > Leave a comment > Approve/Reject/Cancel Approved/Pending Applications. Upon Approval/Cancellation, the user will be notified.
ii. Leave Approval on Web
1. Select LEAVE APPROVAL to check the status of the submitted leave applications.
2. Click on Edit to review the application details and proceed to:
a) Click on Download to review application Attachments.
b) Write a note and Select to Approve, Reject or Cancel the request.
iii. Application History - Web
1. Log in and select LEAVE APPLICATION.
